The Contest Economy: A Week in Numbers

963 contest wins, a two-clan duopoly locked in a one-win race, and a contest rate the game itself appears to control. A deep statistical breakdown of June 28 to July 5, 2026.

Contest win vs regular win

Contest games are a fundamentally different tier of play. They pack roughly two and a half times as many players into a lobby and pay out more than four times the leaderboard points of a regular win. Over the seven days from June 28 to July 5, the server produced 963 of them out of 14,727 tracked wins. This report dissects who won them, where they were fought, when they fired, and what the numbers reveal about the structure of competitive territorial.io.

OG mounted a massive surge from June 29 to July 2, stringing together 41, 55, and 60 contest wins in a three-day burst that looked briefly decisive. OMEN answered hard on July 3 and 4 with back-to-back 53-win days while OG collapsed to just 13. OG rebounded on July 5 with 39 as OMEN dropped to 14. The swings are enormous, but over the full week they cancel almost perfectly: OMEN finishes with 269, OG with 268. It is the closest rivalry in the contest space, and the volatility points to a race driven by player availability and session timing rather than any structural edge.

The Chasing Pack
Behind the Duopoly
CORGI fading, OFF surging late, CN climbing from nothing
Mid-Tier Movers, Daily Contest Wins
The three clans defining the race for third place
CORGI
OFF
CN

CORGI, the declining third. CORGI actually led the entire server on June 28 with 11 contest wins. From there the trajectory is steadily downward: 12, 10, 16, then a slide to 6, 9, 5, and finally zero on July 5. Whether the cause is roster attrition, burnout, or simply being outgrown by the top two, the direction is unmistakable.

OFF, the late surge. OFF nearly tripled its daily output from 2 wins on July 2 to a peak of 16 on July 4, a spike that suggests a roster activation or a coordinated push rather than steady play.

CN, the fastest climber. CN went from 0 contest wins on June 28 to 20 on July 4, the steepest growth curve of any clan this week. If that trajectory holds, CN is the clan most likely to challenge CORGI for third within the coming week.

Conclusions
Structural Findings
01

The rate is algorithmically stable

A 6.16% to 6.89% band across seven days with a standard deviation near 0.19% is not random. Contests almost certainly trigger on a player-count threshold, around 88 or more players, so the rate holds unless the player base itself changes.

02

OMEN and OG are a duopoly

Two clans control 55.7% of every contest win, and the top three reach 62.9%. No one else is close: third-place CORGI has 69 wins against 269 and 268 for the leaders. This is a winner-takes-most ecosystem.

03

CORGI is in decline

From leading the server on June 28 with 11 wins to just 5 on July 4 and zero on July 5, CORGI's downward trend is the clearest negative signal of the week.

04

CN is the fastest riser

Zero to 20 contest wins in seven days is the steepest growth curve on the board. If it holds, CN is positioned to challenge for third place next week.

05

Concentration is increasing

Total contest volume is flat, but the share held by the top two clans is growing while mid-tier clans swing wildly. The competitive core is consolidating at the very top.

06

Caucasia is the battleground

Nearly one in five contest wins happen on Caucasia. Any clan serious about contests has to be strong there before anywhere else.

The Bottom Line
Verdict
Closest Rivalry of the Week
269 : 268
OMEN edges OG by a single contest win across seven days of wild daily swings. Together they own more than half of all contest activity, contests fire like clockwork around the clock, and Caucasia remains the ground everyone fights for. The contest economy is stable at the top and consolidating fast.
