I have decided to step away from Territorial Chronicles. I am not doing this because I stopped caring about this community, but because of something that has been wearing me down, and I want to explain it in my own words.
Over the past months, I have watched more news articles come out that are basically just AI output. Someone types a prompt, hits generate, and posts it as a real report. No research, no checking if it is true, no thinking about whether it even matters. A lot of these are about things that do not really affect the community.
This has been hard to watch, especially knowing how much real work goes into actual reporting. You put in hours to research and write something properly, and then another outlet posts an AI made article on the same topic soon after. It feels less like reporting and more like copying whatever is trending just to look active.
I am not attacking anyone specifically. I just want to be honest about how this affected me. Watching effort get replaced by copy paste content, again and again, made it harder to stay motivated.
So for now, I am stepping back. This is a personal decision, about my own peace of mind.
But Territorial Chronicles is not stopping. Reports will keep coming out, forever. We have moved to a new domain, territorial-chronicles.pages.dev, and a new developer is now working with the team to make sure only quality, non AI content gets delivered here.
